The Fibrous Structures project will now enter a second phase of development allowing a deeper engagement with the topics that emerged from the first phase of experiments. From the five existing fibrous prototypes, one will be selected as starting point of this phase. The new Fibrous Structure will become the base ingredient for an installation, "Fibrous Room", in Istanbul’s Garanti Gallery in January 2008 and a further step towards the engineering development of the Fibrous Pavilion for Istanbul Capital of Culture 2010.

The studio will take place at Hooke Park (prototyping 03 - 08 November 2007) and at the AA in London (digital phase 09 - 12 November 2007) before ending with a presentation at the AA on Monday 12 November.
