Lecture "Design Exploration" (Alpay Aşkun Conference Room) 
The talk will discuss the use of computation for three different types of design exploration based on Axel Kilian's PhD work from MIT using a chair, a concept car and a form finding application design as case studies. The motivation for this talk is to emphasize the importance to challenge the use of computation not just for geometry management or for generative purposes but for design exploration.
