Our buildings need a plethora of energy. Raising energy prices, dangerous dependency on energy imports and the ongoing climate change require rapid action. Therefore various technical and economic alternatives are developed to operate economically.

In South Tyrol we created the concept "CasaClima", which considers these aspects and so the Province of Bolzano has adopted a leading position regarding efficient construction. In the field of domestic architecture this concept displays a new construction culture, which combines sustainability, drastic reduction of energy costs and a perfect interior climate.

The "CasaClima"-standard is considered as a guideline for energy efficiency and qualitative high-value construction across the borders of South Tyrol.

Buildings with "CasaClima" certifications do not only support the savings of resources and the climate protection, but also the reduction of the dependency on foreign delivery of raw materials.

Klimahouse 09, the 4th International fair on Energy Efficient Construction and the "CasaClima" convention 2009 helps on the diffusion of the "CasaClima" project.

Klimahouse is accompanied by an attractive, professionally presented programme of supporting events and technical showcases. In addition to the traditional exhibition stands there will be an international congress with a number of workshop forums giving professional visitors the opportunity to advance their skills and to hear papers presented by well-known speakers.
