The 'Architecture of the Future' working group of the UIA 2002 is inviting all those interested people around the world to communicate their visions and conceptions about the architecture and the town of tomorrow in the 'Atlas of the Architecture of the Future'.

How do you see the architecture of the future?
How do you see the town of the future?
How do you see the landscape of the future?

All those interested parties - experts, private people, institutions and companies- are invited to publish their ideas, visions and projects around the theme of 'Architecture of the Future'.

Participate in the exchange of visions and ideas!

Send us a commented illustration, project or a sketch with title and commentary. All ideas which deal with the central aspects of the architecture of the future can contribute with your help to produce the fullest possible overview of our common future.

Your contribution will be presented at www.uia-atlas.org so that all interested parties may see the articles and use them to develop their own conceptions. Contributions can be designs for architectural problems as well as visions and projects which are without any scale.

To place your contributions in the appropriate spatial, chronological and intellectual context, please describe how your concepts relate to the conditions of your environment.

These relationships may vary greatly, perhaps answering the question in terms of chronological, cultural, local or sociological aspects.

You have already fastened your mind and want to your ideas!
The atlas is intended to create a wide and varying exchange of thoughts. Important questions about the 'Architecture of the Future' can be answered by means of the subsequently necessary discussion of the contributions.

The atlas will be presented as an international exhibition within the framework of the UIA-World Congress of Architecture in the year 2002.

Participants who want their projects presented at the XXI. World Congress of Architecture and/ or those who would like to win one of the trips to Berlin, are requested to hand in their projects by the 28th of February 2002.
