has also been invited to participate.
The competition runs from September to December during which time students
can consider their projects, either individually or in groups. Some lecturers
even choose to integrate the competition theme into their curriculum.
Students must submit two layout boards (50 x 65 cm), presenting drawings, plans
or summary images accompanied by explanatory notes on the concept, their focus,
materials, etc… All keys and copies must be submitted in both French and
English.
The projects are evaluated and winners are selected in January and February.
The selection is then carried out in two phases :
- first, a technical jury, consisting of employees from Gaz de France and Plan
Créatif, carry out a pre-selection and select a shortlist of around twenty
projects.
- then, a honorary jury, presided over by the group's Communications Director,
M. Patrick MAGD, and consisting of designers, journalists, industrialists and
representatives from Gaz de France, is responsible for selecting the prize
winners and nominated projects.
All projects are submitted anonymously and identified only by a personal
code. Each entrant is sent their personal code when entries close in November.
All the short listed projects are displayed at the awards ceremony attended by
the students, designers, industrialists and journalists. Students awarded a
nomination receive a prize of 300 Euros, the winner of the 1st prize receives 4
600 Euros, the winner of the 2nd prize 3 100 Euros and the winner of the 3rd
prize 1 600 Euros. The jury reserves the right to award special commendations.
