CLAC - Centro Legno Arredo Cantù, in collaboration with SUPSI - Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana and MCM - Material Connexion Milano, will be holding a competition focusing on the theme of design as part of the Interreg III project.

Competition theme: the new expressive dimensions of innovative materials as intelligent interfaces between product and user.

The competition is intended to encourage designers to reflect on the definition of products (objects, equipment, elements for partitioning space, building components) which manage to interpret the expressive and technical/constructive values of innovative materials, both natural and artificial, and also generate new relations in the home and in the places where public life unfolds

This international competition is open to students in schools and universities of architecture, engineering and industrial design, academies, ISIA, art schools and post-graduate schools, including groups (entries may be submitted by a class, section, department, etc.).

Three prizes will be awarded: a 1st prize of 2,500.00 euros gross, a 2nd prize of 1,500.00 euros gross and a 3rd prize of 1,000.00 euros gross.
