Object Of The Competition: The Design for the O.I.C. Headquarters in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Promoter: The Organisation of the Islamic Conference, abbreviated as O.I.C. (www.oic-oci.org)
Type Of Competition: An international architectural design competition will be organized in two phases, with prizes awarded by a panel of judges, referred to as the Jury.
Participants: Architects, architectural academics, senior students working with architectural mentors, multidisciplinary teams lead by architects.
Entry Fees: Each competitor shall remit a participation fee of $200US
Documentation: The basic documentation for drawing up proposals shall be delivered to participants directly and will be available on the competition website in common computer formats and media.
Selection of Proposals: In Phase One the jury will select a set of proposals on the basis of their architectural ideas and other criteria. A small number will then be invited to participate in Phase Two, which will lead to the selection of the winner.
Jury: The jury shall be composed of seven members, one legal adviser and a coordinator of the competition.
