Organised in association with Immobilien Zeitung and Eta Star, the 16th edition of the MIPIM Awards ceremony will reward the best international real estate projects. Participants will cast their vote in the ballot box during the market and choose 5 winners and a special jury award.

The MIPIM Awards honour the most outstanding real estate projects completed between March 2005 and March 2006, based on the following criteria: the technical and architectural qualities of the projects, the originality of their design, their successful integration into a site, their infrastructure and access facilities and their service provision.

Projects can be entered in any of the following five categories:
-Business centres
-Shopping centres
-Refurbished office buildings
-Residential developments
-Hotels & Tourism resorts

An international jury of high-level real estate professionals will choose 15 projects, 3 in each category. These nominated projects will then put to a vote by all participants at MIPIM 2006.

The jury will also choose a special jury prize from 15 selected projects.
