AIA St. Louis presents the 2008 AIA Photography Competition. The top 15 entries will be exhibited at the 2008 AIA National Convention in Boston, MA. Images for the 2010 Engagement Calendar (approximately 52 images) will be selected from all submitted entries and will include the 15 award winners. A complimentary 2010 Engagement Calendar will be provided to each entrant whose image(s) are selected.

Entry deadline is 1 March 2008.

Eligibility
The competition is open to any and all architects actively registered in the United States. The contest is also open to Associate members of the AIA, and student members of AIAS in good standing. Professional Affiliate or Allied members are not eligible. Slides submitted by ineligible individuals will not be processed and will not be returned.

Cash Awards
First Place 500 Dollars
Second Place 400 Dollars 
Third Place 300 Dollars 
Al Fuller Award* 200 Dollars 

*The subject of the Al Fuller Award must be located in the United States.

No image will receive more than one cash award.

Slides will not be returned and will become the property of AIA St. Louis.

Conditions of Entry
1. Digital Entry Requirements:
File Size
Each image must not exceed 20 MB in size.

Resolution
Each image should be at least 2816 pixels in its longest dimension.

File Format
Each image must be entered in JPG or TIFF format.

File Naming
Each image title must be included in the file name (please limit the title to the first twenty letters of the title). File names should not include punctuation. Image name must include the extension of .JPG or .TIFF.

Entry Delivery
Each (all) entries must be burned onto a Compact Disk, (readable by windows). Please write entrant’s name on the CD-ROM. Entry should be submitted with appropriate payment and a hard copy of the entry form(s). Each entry (of five images) requires a separate entry form; one check is acceptable. Mail or deliver to AIA St. Louis at 911 Washington Ave., Suite 100, St. Louis, MO 63101.

2. Entries must have been exposed by, and be owned by, the entrant.

3. Images previously published and/or pending publication or cash winning images in previous AIA Photography competitions are not eligible.

4. Entry fee for AIA Members is 30 Dollars. Entry fee for AIA Student members is 15 Dollars. Entry fee for non-member US registered architects is 50 Dollars. Entrants may submit up to five (5) slide for each entry fee. Entrants may enter as many times as desired.Yarışma Şartnamesi
