Michiel Riedijk, Neutelings Riedijk Architects

Michiel Riedijk of the Rotterdam practice presents a new building, The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. It houses the Dutch television archive, which is reflected by the digitally rendered archival imagery superimposed on the glass façade.

Farshid Moussavi, Foreign Office Architects

London-based Foreign Office Architects is one of the most innovative firms in practice today, deftly integrating architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. Farshid Moussavi presents one of the practice's recently completed projects: La Rioja Technology Transfer Centre in Logroño, the Carabanchel housing in Madrid, or the New Shires development in Leicester.

David Adjaye, Adjaye/Associates

David Adjaye presents the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, the practice’s first public building in the United States. Based on the notion that the building must support rather than define the museum’s mission, the design follows a European Kunsthalle format and comprises 20,000 square feet of galleries, education and lecture spaces, a bookshop and a roof garden for a dedicated outdoor art programme.

Peter Märkli, Märkli Architekt 

Peter Märkli, one of Switzerland’s leading architects, talks about his design for a visitor centre, prominently positioned a recent redevelopment of a pharmaceutical industrial site in central Basel. The building comprises a strictly geometrical external structure, supported by Jenny Holzer’s LED façade, and an opulent interior with Alex Herter’s banisters and typography by Bringolf, Irion, Vögeli, leading figures of the local creative sector.
