The Union of Hungarian Architects (MÉSZ) announces an international symposium Architecture Now! in October 2007, within the events of the Month of Architecture.
The one-day event joins to the UIA (International Union of Architects) motto: Transmitting Zero CO2 Architecture, and explores the subject of energy conscious architecture. The symposium focuses professional and public attention on the reduction of CO2 emission of buildings, by developing low energy and passive houses and the use of renewable energies in buildings. Built examples, case studies will be presented from Germany, UK, Austria and Netherlands, and new projects from USA and Hungary.
The event will discuss the shift in design culture towards sustainable design, legislation and international practice experience. There will be a small display of case studies and from manufacturers of components and new products that have been developed recently for the emerging market needs.
