The 2009 Building Physics Conference will be organized in Istanbul, Turkey by the Physical Environment Control Unit of Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture. The main theme of the conference is “Energy Efficiency and New Approaches in Building Physics”. The conference will also focus on various subjects within the field of Building Physics. The conference will provide a forum for scientists, researchers and practitioners from all over the world to disseminate technical information, new ideas and latest developments and discuss future direction in the fields of building physics. Moreover, the conference is expected to form a platform through which the developed and the developing countries exchange their knowledge and experiences.

The Congress will be held in Istanbul renowned for its rich history and magnificent sceneries. It is the only city spreading over two continents: it lies at a point where Asia and Europe are separated by a narrow strait - the Bosphorus. A social program will be organized to make you enjoy your visit to Istanbul and leave the city with unforgettable memories. As a national focal point of pioneering studies in the field of environmental control and building physics in Istanbul, the Physical Environment Control Unit of Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture invites you to attend and contribute to the 2009 Building Physics Conference. The Unit will be very happy to welcome you to the congress in Istanbul.

The Aim of The Conference
The 2009 Building Physics Congress aims to play a leading role on the subject of building physics, by providing a forum for information exchange between researchers and professionals.
