The Faculty of Engineering at Birzeit University in Palestine and the Department of Land Use and Landscape Planning at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences are organizing an International Conference entitled "Conservation and Management of Landscape in Conflict Regions" that will take place in Birzeit University from 29 November - 01 December 2007.

The conference shall cover different issues pertaining to landscape, and it will be held in partnership with the Norwegian Programme for Development, Research and education (NUFU), UNESCO and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA). The programme of the conference includes keynote speeches from international and local prominent specialists in different fields. Yet, (24) scientific papers have been accepted after peer review and they will be presented by guests and participants from: Palestine, Norway, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Greece, Slovenia, India, South Africa, Nigeria, United States of America, Canada and New Zeeland.

- 240 US Dollars for three persons
