A hundred years after Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, alias Le Corbusier, made his first trip to Italy, the Corbusier Foundation is organising an international conference dedicated to the Swiss-French architect's relationship with the Italian peninsula.

The three day conference opens on December 13 at the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca and continues on December 14 at the Argiletum Architecture Faculty and the Casa dell'Architettura, finishing on December 15 with a meeting at Villa Adriana at Tivoli and a visit to the places that the architect-to-be visited and portrayed in his sketches in 1911. The conference will be held in Italian and French.
