The Dutch photographer, Erik-Jan Ouwerkerk, who lives in Berlin, takes us on a tour through the cities of the 21st century.
The exhibition will present a selection of fascinating black/white and colour images of his extensive photographic oeuvre on urban views.
With a specific eye on the urban lifestyle Erik-Jan Ouwerkerk reports as subjective and sometimes ironic analyst about everyday life, people and architecture. His photos are like stories, characteristic pictures of the city, in which the invisible, the political, becomes visible: Power, mass, speed, authority. They tell us stories as diverse as the cities themselves.
