Sofia Architecture Week 2009

Etkinlik Başlangıç - Bitiş Tarihi: 30 Ekim - 5 Kasım 2009
Yer: Sofya

Web Sitesi: www.sofiaarchitecturewe...

Sofia Architecture Week is an international architecture event, which promotes a vital dialogue and exchange of ideas between key players within the architecture industry, municipalities, professors, students, and interested in the subject citizens. Sofia Architecture Week stimulates a new type of thinking, perception and reaction towards the subject of architecture - its power and impact on society. Each element of the program explores this idea in order to inspire and nurture long term creative solutions for friendlier urban space and continuous support for intelligent architecture here and now.

Launched in September 2008 as a two days conference, this year's second edition of SOFIA ARCHITECTURE WEEK opens itself to the general public with far more expansive programme. Besides an intense lecture weekend marathon, the event is hosting exhibitions, discussions and presentations with free access for all interested.

Sofia Architecture Week is organized by the independent Bulgarian media 1 magazine and is part of its international initiatives - Sofia Dance Week and Sofia Design Week, which are carried out on an annual basis.

Architecture builds up our way of living and on a daily basis calibrates our point of view through the window at home or on the street outside. Sofia Architecture Week is here to reveal a different angle of perceiving and understanding architecture.
