The participants of the program met in ITU Faculty of Architecture in the morning and went to Cumalıkızık Village of Bursa by bus. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu welcomed the participants in Cumalıkızık with a group of students and after that she presented her speech titled "Cumalıkızık; Revitalization of a 700 Year Old Ottoman Waqf Village" in the tea garden of the village.

Dostoğlu mentioned the historical development and importance of the Bursa shortly, and evaluated its importance in the conservation process of Cumalıkızık, its physical, social and economic structure. After her speech a technical excursion was made and the groups headed towards their regions of analysis.

After the excursion, workshop studies started in the computer labs of Uludağ University. The studies ended late at night and the participants were accommodated in the dormitory of the Uludağ University.
