Dutch Architecture for China
08 Ekim -26 Kasım 2005, Arcam,
Amsterdam, Hollanda |
ARCAM
is organizing an exhibition from 8 October to 26 November dedicated to designs
by Dutch architects and urbanists for projects in China. Not only Rem Koolhaas
and his team but many other Dutch designers have developed connections with the
People’s Republic in recent years. An exuberant collection of drawings, photos
and scale models will give a picture of their proposals for new buildings,
housing schemes and city districts in various Chinese towns. In the parallel
publication, all the plans will be documented and experts on China will give
up-to-date accounts of Chinese architecture, urban design and spatial planning.
ARCAM’s October and November lectures and the annual Museum Night will also be
on the China theme.
The exhibition space and the information point are open Tuesday to Saturday,
from 13.00 to 17.00. Admission is free.
