The topic of this year's conference is "Disaster
Management -
Engineering Solutions for Mitigation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of
Man-Made and Natural Disasters". Any country may experience disasters,
whether man-made or natural - wars or earthquakes, terrorism or floods,
industrial pollution or landslides. Engineers and architects need to be able to
meet these challenges wherever they arise.
