Tarih: 02 - 05 Aralık 2004 The UIA, Union International of Architects is an international institution that represents approximately one million architects and other planners professional in a world wide scale, recognized by governments and UNESCO. The UIA Architecture for Science and High-Tech Facilities Work Programme (ASHTF) is a working body of the UIA led by Directors. Architect Moshe Zarhy is the director since 1998. 2004 meeting and seminar is co-organized with the faculty Science and Technology of Macau University. The meeting will be held in Macau, China from December 2 to 5. Seminar sections and Technical visits will be held in December 3 and 4 at Macau and Zhuhai. The main theme is: “Science and Hi-Tech Facilities contribution for regional environment”. 2003 meeting in Scottsdale, Phoenix Arizona was focus on “The Principles of Architecture for Science and High Tech Facilities”. 2002 meeting was held during the XX UIA World Congress in Berlin. Were presented four sub-themes: a) High Tech Facilities; like laboratories, Micro and Nano technology products research and production centers. High Tech Corporation, Intelligent buildings technologies, Robot mechanization chain production; b) High Tech Urban Infrastructures; media/communication centers; d) City of Science; different Russian concept on special urban compounds or cities for scientific research and production like Chernogolovka in Russia or Adlershof in Berlin where University and research companies share facilities and resources; c) Technology Parks; Science parks, Science Institutes, research labs, corporations high tech products productions facilities and industrial parks. 2001 at Moscow “Thechnopolis - The Town of Science” was the general theme. 2000 meeting in Berlin focused on “Science and High-Tech Campus in the Urban Context Today”. 1999. The first Work Programme meeting was in Israel. Afterwards every year the ASHTF Work Programme had benefit from the scientific contribution of many professionals that participate in the yearly meeting.
