Description: Renowned Turkish architect
and poet Cengiz Bektas, will show his work from the past 40 years, and place
this within a wider historical and cultural context. As a poet and essayist
Bektas brings a unique understanding of the cultural, political and traditional
aspects that influence both architectural thought and output today, displayed in
his 2001 Aga Khan Award winning project for the Olbia Social Centre, Antalya,
Turkey.
