Design for a Sustainable Future
No need for just beautiful design
No need for self-righteous design
No need for disposable design
If mass production, mass consumption and attitudes would change
If the life of items were longer
If natural materials were used effectively
If everyone would use environmental standards in material purchases
Our world would be a much better place
And return to its maintainable brightness.
Design that is kind to people, design that is kind to the earth-
We wish to make “Kagu” with that in mind.
”Kagu” are furniture and interior goods that combine various techniques
and materials based on Shizuoka woodworking craft and can contribute towards
