 Österreichische Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen-Gesellschaft m.b.H. is holding
an open procedure landscape design competition for redevelopment of the area by
the banks of the Danube, in relation to the extension of motorway A 22.
The landscape reorganisation project must take into consideration the
security measures required to protect the city of Vienna from the flooding of
the Danube. The competition is open to professionals with skills in the fields
of architecture, landscape design, urban planning, and technical studios in the
construction sector.
Project Assessment Criteria:
- Formal qualities (landscaping, ecology, innovation);
- Functional qualities;
- Traffic solutions;
- Economic feasibility.
Candidates must provide documented evidence of their technical and
professional abilities, of their volume of business in the past three years, and
of their possession of adequate equipment and human resources for the project.
Prizes
A total of 64,000.00 euros in prizes will be awarded, including 19,200.00
euros for the top project, 15,600.00 euros for the second project and 12,000.00
euros for the third.
