WAF is the only annual international architectural event to reward excellence in a fully interactive, inclusive live format. Through its unique entry and judging process and its cutting edge seminar and exhibition content, it is simultaneously a celebration of great architecture and an inspirational intellectual challenge to a major world profession.

Entrance Fees
- 995 Euros - Awards entry, including 2 three day visitor passes for the Festival.
- 545 Euros - Awards entry, without visitor tickets. Three day visitor tickets are available for 500 Euros each.
- 400 Euros - Subsequent Awards entries

Eligibility
- Individual architects, practices, multi-professional teams, interior architects/designers, landscape architects
- Developers, funders, contractors and other associated organisations (for example clients), may also enter on behalf of the architect, with their consent

Eligible Projects
- Buildings, projects, interiors, landscape and structural designs, completed between 1 January 2008 and 26 June 2009 (for Completed Buildings, Interiors and Fit Out & Structural Design Categories). For Future Project category - design work started from January 2008
- There is no limit on the number of buildings/projects that can be submitted (subsequent entries cost a further 400 Euros)
- Buildings/projects can be submitted in more than one category where relevant
- All designs must be by professionals whose qualifications are recognised by their localaccreditation organisation

Please note: If the building is judged to be the winner, the architect must be available in Barcelona to collect the trophy.
NB. You are able to enter projects in more than one category and also enter more than one project into the same category.

Completed Buildings

Shortlisting in London, up to 16 in each category; shortlisted architects present in crit rooms Wednesday/Thursday at WAF; 15 category winners re-present on Friday to the superjury in the big room; category winners and overall winner receive awards on Friday evening. All category winners compete for the "World Building of the Year" award.

Future Projects
Shortlisting in London, no limit on numbers; jury reviews these entries at WAF on Wednesday/Thursday am, and picks the best eight ideas. The winners are invited to present their projects in one of the crit rooms on Friday, winners and Project of the year winner receive their awards on Friday evening.

Interiors and Fit Out
