EDRA and Places: Forum for Design of the Public Realm annual award program recognizes outstanding projects in planning, design, and design research. EDRA / Places Awards recognize projects whose significance extends beyond any one profession or field. The awards emphasize a link between research and practice. They demonstrate how a careful understanding of people and their interactions with places can inspire design. Jurors for the competition are leaders in the fields of planning, design, and design research.
