
The questions subject to the competition are:
- How are prisons used by societies?
- What is their affect on those societies, their caretakers, and their occupants?
The participants should design a philosophy on what imprisonment is or should be, and create an architectural design to express that philosophy.
Eligibility
The competition entries are to be expressed through architectural design. However, the competition is open to students of any field. Entries can be from an individual or a group of students (groups limited to four people). Entries from all countries are encouraged.
Registration
Participants should send their student name, email address and school name to [email protected].
If competing as a group, all team members should together and include all student names and schools. A registration number will be sent within 48 hours.
Submission Materials and Format
(2) 24"x36": In an effort to restrict bias, please do not include your name or school name on the boards.

Awards
First Prize: 500 Dollars
Second Prize: 250 Dollars
Third Prize: 100 Dollars
All registered participants will be notified of the winners within 24 hours of the announcement. The winners and honorees will receive a gallery showing of their work and will be published on this website.
