An international workshop will be held by Istanbul Technical University (I.T U), Housing Research and Education Center, in May 28 and June 04, 2004 at ITU Faculty of Architecture.

The aim of the workshop is to explore and discover the existing architectural characteristics of the space and find new ways of humanizing the city. The workshop participants are expected to be at least senior level undergraduate and preferably in their graduate and doctoral studies, or post-docs; in the fields of Architecture and Urban Planning. The teaching group is mainly local, from the Faculty of Architecture at I.T.U., and two international scholars are invited into the workshop. A short field trip Bursa Cumalıkızık is integrated into the workshop themes.
