Architects, city planners, philosophers and sociologists all agree. We are in
an age with no centre, in an environment of diffused contours. Surrounded by
global influences which more and more determine the rhythm of the city, the
design of our living conditions becomes more complex. It is at this point that
the Pontresina Architecture Symposium takes up the thread of the discussion. The
goal is result-oriented contributions on the subject of important urban
questions about the future, formulated in an interdisciplinary manner.
