Background:
The ABB2004 is patronized by the Ministry if Culture and the Ministry of Construction. The aim of ABB2004 is to show the architectural creation, advanced technology and new building materials, to build up a platform for sharing the latest information and a bridge for cooperation between the Chinese professionals with colleagues abroad.

In the past 2 decades, China has been the "largest construction site" in the world with largest quantity and fastest construction speed. Especially, after China became a member of WTO and Beijing became the host of the World Olympic Game in 2008, China confronts a high tide of construction boom.
ABB 2004 is an Architectural Festival and Big Gathering for architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners, students and teachers from school of architecture, estate developers, contractors, manufacturers and decision makers from governmental sectors from different parts of the world.
