Yarışma Özeti(Summary):
SEGD is an international non-profit organization that provides resources for
design specialists in the field of environmental graphic design,
architecture, and landscape, interior, and industrial design. SEGD members
are leading designers of directional and attraction sign systems,
destination graphics, identity programs, exhibits, and themed environments.
Environmental Graphic Design embraces many design disciplines including
graphic, architectural, interior, landscape, and industrial design, all
concerned with the visual aspects of wayfinding, communicating identity and
information, and shaping the idea of “place”.

Eligibility:
• This international program is open to both members and non-members of
SEGD.
• Projects entered must have been completed between 1.1.99 and 12.31.01.
Projects entered in previous years may be entered again if they were not an
award winner.
• While a project may be entered in more than one category, only one entry
fee is required for each project. There is no limit on the number of entries
that can be entered by an individual or firm.
• Jurors and their companies are not eligible to enter.
• Student work is defined as work by full-time students enrolled in a
recognized design program. Projects must have been designed in 2000 or 2001.
All entries must:
• demonstrate the use of graphic design elements (including but not limited
to typography, symbols, pictograms, diagrams, color-coding, etc.) in the
design solution.
• focus on the communication of information, identity, or image in the
designed environment as the primary intent.
Deadline for Registration: January 31, 2002(Late fee applies Feb 15,2002)
