We presume this is about a one-week charrette.

Schools located in Appalachian coal region: PA, OH, MD, WV, VA, TN, KY, AL, OK, IA, IL, IN. Specific schools AMD&ART has worked with in the past: Syracuse, University of Colorado- Boulder, Cal Poly SLO, Rhode Island School of Design, University of Wisconsin, Savannah College of Art and Design.

Submissions
Maximum of 12 11X17 Illustration boards. All text and illustrations permanently mounted on Boards. Please include a Statement of Purpose. All boards must be able to be pinned to a single 4X8-foot background. Please send Illustration boards with all materials attached to boards in FedEx Large box (17.5” x 12.5” x 3”). All submissions are the property of AMD&ART. No materials will be returned.

Requirements:
Installation labor and materials must not exceed $8,000, local prices. Installation must be flood tolerant. Please check the flood history of Blacklick Creek to assure design will survive significant flooding. Installation should be self-evident, self-interpretive. We want minimal text. Credits will be included on this minimal signage. Installation must include device to measure normal flow of water out of AMD&ART system, roughly 0-350gpm.

Multi-disciplinary teams are strongly encouraged.
