Yarışma Özeti(Summary):
THEME: "The Digital Bridge to the Human
World: USER-First Design"
The digital age allows for the first time the realization of truly
human-centred products; adaptable, intuitive, and intelligent. Design
will be instrumental in the cultural assimilation of digital technology,
because it is the primary way of experiencing it in everyday life.
In this context we invite proposals for smart, innovative products that
re-create living by exploring the interaction between digital technology
and human values.

'USER-First
Design' is corporate design policy which defines four criteria for
judging entries:
- User-friendly:
A user-interface which is acutely responsive to the user's needs; and
allows intuitive understanding of the product's function.
- Solid:
The integrity and completeness of the design concept; it's realization
not only in overall form, but also in the resolution of detail.
- Expressive:
The language and meaning of form; the originality and aesthetic flair of
the design concept.
- Reflecting lifestyle:
Design that explores pragmatic needs as well as issues of identity and
aspirations in contemporary life.
Digital technology is a catalyst for change promising untold
possibilities for progress and enrichment of human life in the
information society of the 21st century.
