The competition Promoter, The Finsbury Park Community Forum, seeks a
quality imaginative, contemporary design for a modern, well equipped,
multi-purpose building that will serve the community of Finsbury Park. The
funding for the project, approximately £600,000, is coming from Finsbury
Park Single Regeneration Budget. (Other match funding is to be identified).

The competition is open to small architectural practices of 3 - 8
architects who have an inclusive team of black and minority ethnic
architects and women architects.

The practice should be registered in the UK. From those who register an
interest in the competition, up to 4 Competitors will be shortlisted to
prepare design concepts and will be invited to present their ideas at an
interview. Each Team selected to proceed to this phase will be paid an
honorarium of £2,000.

The Finsbury Park Community Forum actively encourage black and minority
ethnic architects and women architects to take part in this competition.

The deadline for receipt of expressions of interest with practice profiles
is Wednesday 27th February 2002 4pm.
