Yarışma Özeti(Summary):
The Municipality of Santiago de Chile with the sponsorship of the XIII Biennale of Architecture of Santiago de Chile, 2002, and the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile calls for design proposals of the "Bicentennial Tower" to be constructed on one side of the Centro Cultural Estacion Mapocho, and as part of the New Market Square been developed in downtown Santiago.

The function of the project is a telecommunication tower that is to be the tallest of Chile and South America. The minimum height of the tower should be 160 mts. The project should be proposed as a major destination in the city of Santiago and a revitalizing element of the area in which it will located.

All Chilean Architects that are registered and current members of the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile can participate. Foreign Architects must be associated to a Chilean Architect member of the Colegio de Arquitectos that can legally practice in the Country of Chile.
