The Three main areas
Three main presentations will be given within the themes:
The Challenge: Demonstrate the importance of the building construction in a global sustainable development
The Knowledge: Focus the latest research and knowledge
The Solutions: Demonstrate practical solutions

The speakers will individually cover topics such as ecology, social and cultural conditions, and economic issus. Furthermore the presentations aim to discuss the various challenges both developed and developing countries are faced with today.

Parallel and plenary sessions
During SB02, three to four parallel session will be held in addition to Green Building Challenge (GBC). Papers and presentations with broad interest that is of concern to all delegates, will be presented in plenary sessions.

Poster sessions
Approximately 250 posters will be displayed throughout the conference area. The posters will be orginised according to the same themes as the oral presentations, and will be grouped together at the poster exhibition. Time will be scheduled to discuss the posters individually with the authors.

Workshops
The organisers of SB02 know that there are several workshops planned prior or after the conference itself.
These workshops are not organised by the SB02 secretariat, but we will be happy to help with meeting facilities and announcements.

Meeting rooms
As an extension of the conference a number of conference rooms are available for individual meeting and workshops, prior, during, and after SB02. Take the opportunity to arrange meeting with colleagues from all over the world!
Please let us know if you are interested in arranging such gatherings whilst in Oslo, and we will reserve the facilities for you.

Exhibition
Organisers, exhibitors and delegates at the Sustainable Building conference in Maastricht, expressed that the concept of national pavilions was interesting and educational. A similar exhibition will therefore be held at SB02 in addition to the poster exhibition.

Pavilions
National pavilions provide a unique opportunity to present successful sustainable projects in your country to colleaguas from all over the world. Organisations, institutes and others are also welcome to take part as exhibitor if their national pavilion is not suitable.

Exhibition area and prices
The exhibition will be located in a 550 m² exhibition pavilion just outside the conference hotel. There are two standardised types of stands/booths.

Alternative 1: 6 m² for the price of 35000 NOK + 24 % VAT

Alternative 2: 8 m² for the price of 45000 NOK + 24 % VAT

If larger stands are preferred this has to be discussed and agreed upon with the exhibition manager.

Number of pavilions
The number of pavilions are limited, we therefore suggest that you reserve a pavilion as soon as possible.

Conference registration and Hotel reservation
Registration for the conference
The registration form includes both registration for the conference, and the hotel reservation.
Please note the conference fee increases if registration is carried out after July 1.
