The Eight International Conference on Concrete Engineering and Technology will be held in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia from 19 - 21 April 2004. Previous conferences took place here in Malaysia in 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2001.

CONCET' 2004 is set to provide an atmosphere that is conductive to fruitful interaction and exchange of ideas, the latest technological advances, research results, design innovations as well as state-of-the-art information between scientists and engineers from both the academia and industry. Its main objective is to promote, advance and integrate the science and practice of concrete engineering and technology in the present era infrastructure development, construction and maintenance.

CONCET' 2004 hopes to be a forum for the exchange of information and discussion of recent developments in concrete related subjects. Among others, these topics will be discussed:
